In the spring of 2004, the design duo RoomMate, alias Christine Schwarzer and Anne Birgitte Balle, decided to create an innovative product line for children. The focus point was to create positive and stimulating settings for creative children's play.

The result is a series of children's furniture with an innovative expression, giving room to play, fantasies and absorption.

FatCat is a children's beanbag with a new design expression. It can be used for sitting in but is also designed for play and romping about. The FatCat beanbag is a combined furniture and toy.

The beanbag is designed for children, but at the same time functions as a fun and charming design in a grown-up environment.

FatCat is available in two sizes: FatCat small for toddlers (not currently available) and FatCat large for school kids.
